Chandler Simpson, standing 5'11" and weighing 170 lbs, bats left and throws right. Born November 18, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia, Simpson was drafted by the Rays in July 2022 and has quickly established himself as an elite base-stealing threat.

An 80-grade runner, Chandler racked up a combined 198 steals over three levels of the organization in 2023-24 - 68 more than any other farmhand in that span. "If he hits the ball on the ground, you might as well just eat it and call him safe," fellow Rays prospect Xavier Isaac marvels. "It's so fun to watch him run and play the game the right way."

Simpson's minor league batting record shows impressive totals: 233 games, 921 at-bats, 183 runs, 300 hits, 30 doubles, 6 triples, 1 home run, 63 RBIs, 206 stolen bases, 104 walks, 104 strikeouts, and a .326 batting average.
